Information for Conference Attendees

The SMSU community and general public are invited and encouraged to attend this year’s conference, showcasing some of the excellent work done by SMSU students. This year’s conference will be primarily in-person, but will also have virtual options, with virtual presentations held live via Zoom. Presentations are grouped into discipline-specific sessions and held throughout the day. Presentation times for individual presenters will be available in the URC Program as well as the URC Abstract Booklet, linked above.

Presenter Information

• REGISTRATIONS for student presentations are due no later than Wednesday, October 9, 2024 (11:59 p.m.).
  • Submit one application per presentation.

• ABSTRACTS for student presentations are due no later than Wednesday, November 13, 2024 (11:59 p.m.)
  

• PRESENTATIONS:
  • Poster presentations must be submitted no later than Wednesday, November 20, 2024 (11:59 p.m.). This will allow adequate time for poster printing. Poster presentations should be saved and submitted as a PowerPoint (preferred) or PDF file.

• • Oral and Virtual presentations must be submitted by Sunday, December 1, 2024 (11:59 p.m.). Oral presentations should be submitted as a PowerPoint file.

  • Please adhere to submission deadlines. Late submissions will not be accepted.
