CARE Team

SMSU strives to create a safe and healthy learning environment.  As members of the campus-community, faculty and staff interact with students on a regular basis and may observe behaviors that are concerning or are unusual for a student.  When a student's behavior goes beyond what is considered normal, and a student appears distressed (to be in crisis), the CARE Team can be contacted for assistance.  The CARE Team will evaluate the circumstances and discuss a plan of action for the situation and those involved.
